Dr FOX 11, co-presenter of FOX 11, announced on Tuesday that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
The 62-year-old famous doctor has reportedly been experiencing symptoms of the virus since the day after Christmas and hopes to “get well soon.”
Susan Pinsky, the wife of Dr. Drew, gave an update on Instagram on his behalf, saying that he contracted the virus and that she and her children tested negative. In the report, Susan wore a mask and took a selfie with her husband, while both bottles held Hydralyte “for COVID-19”. In the report it is mentioned that dr. Drew’s fever subsided and thanked the doctors concerned for their ‘excellent care and advice’.
Dr. Drew followed up on his terms in an additional Instagram post and thanked those who booked in with him.
“COVID is not nice. I do not recommend it,” said Dr. Drew said. ‘I’m kind of through the viral phase, this is when the virus propagated and took very good medicine to attack [the virus] early … Man, am I glad to get it now and not earlier in the course. I’m waiting for an antibody infusion, but if this thing resolves before I get the infusion, all the better … “
California health officials announced Tuesday that they have extended stay-at-home orders until 2021 due to a continuing surge of coronavirus cases amid the holiday season.

Dr. Drew is currently being treated at his home in Southern California and is expected to fully recover.
