Donald Trump subsequently said they should not pay Rudy Giuliani for his legal services: WaPo

The relationship between President Donald Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani is crumbling. The commander-in-chief told assistants not to pay Giuliani at all for his legal work to overthrow Trump’s loss in the November presidential election, according to The Washington Post. Since November, Giuliani has traveled the country to testify before state lawmakers and promote the president’s unfounded allegations of widespread voter fraud. Trump has told their assistants he wants to personally review any repayment requests from Giuliani. The former mayor of New York also demanded $ 20,000 a day at one point, which apparently made Trump angry. Trump was indicted for the second time on Wednesday on charges of inciting an uprising, the first president in U.S. history to step down twice.
