Donald Trump Jr. criticized Republicans for “losing gracefully” against Democrats, saying his father, former President Donald Trump, had shown that “you can actually push back.”

Trump spoke on Fox News on Thursday, saying more Republicans are unwilling to stand up to Democrats and should act like the former president.

“The Republicans are not prepared to do that. They have shown it over the decades,” he said in an interview with host Sean Hannity.

He continued: “They would just rather lose gracefully, I think. This is not really a plan I would go with. That’s what they did. Donald Trump has shown that you do not have to do that. You can actually pushing back. ‘

Since taking office, President Joe Biden has signed a number of executive actions that have overturned Trump-era policies and pushed hard to promote a new stimulus package.

Some Republicans have indicated they want to cooperate with Biden, which has pledged to return two-party to American politics.

Former President Trump, in turn, has reacted to his loss of election by rejecting the results and promoting false allegations.

His attacks included a series of failed legal presentations for the results and dissemination of conspiracy theories.

He also repeatedly aroused his fans and encouraged them to ‘fight’ against Biden’s victory. It culminated on January 6, where he gave a speech in Washington DC to encourage supporters and use violent images.

It quickly developed into a riot at the American Capitol, where lawmakers ratified the November election result. The riot resulted in five deaths, including a Capitol police officer.

This led to Trump being indicted by the House of Representatives in January. He is accused of inciting the uprising on January 6 and becoming the first president to be charged twice.

But the Senate, where he has strong Republican support, voted to acquit him.
