Dominican cancels plantation need in Venezuela negotiations that live fair, free and transparent elections

The Minister of External Relations, Roberto Álvarez, has urged the Dominican Governor to take part in all the Oriental Dialogue Initiatives to ensure a negotiated settlement to the crisis in Venezuela.

The Dominican Chancellor considers that international actors should contribute to generating the conditions for a dialogue between the Venezuelans that allows the regression to constitutionality and the respect for institutionality. Diplomatic speeches are produced in its participation in the Sixth Ministerial Meeting of the International Contact Group on Venezuela ,.

Señaló que así as the Dominican Republic aboga by the Unity of the Venezuelan Opposition, the international community must act in accordance with the union of criteria in the international bodies, in particular the Organization of American States (OEA), which returns to the decision .

Considering that it is necessary to create the conditions for taking part in a practical negotiation that unfolds in a solution to the crisis, traverses the generation of a process that facilitates mutual trust between the parties and culminates in an electoral certificate , free and transparent. A comic with guarantees for all the groups and political actors involved, which are accompanied by the support of the international community, and have a climate of unrest that respects human rights.

“By all means, we intend that all Venezuelan parties should subscribe to a national, sincere, amplio, inclusive, credible and respectful dialogue that contributes to a deep-seated solution to the crisis that is alive in this nation. The Venezuelan people, of direct form, must be the only one with power to determine the architecture of its democracy and leadership, ”the diplomat said.

This Ministerial Meeting of the International Contact Group on Venezuela was the first in our country to take part in its accession as a full-fledged member of parliament on 28 October 2020.
