The Dolphins add a linebacker to their list.

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported that the Dolphins will sign former Texan Brennan Scarlett.

Scarlett has spent the past five seasons with the Texans and he has started 22 times in the past four seasons. He had 139 tackles, 5.5 tackles, three forced fumbles, an interception and a fumble recovery in 56 overall appearances for the team.

The Dolphins acquired linebacker Benardrick McKinney in a trade deal with Houston this week, and Scarlett will have a familiar face on defense. They also signed for Vince Beigel again, but released Kyle Van Noy a year after signing him as a free agent.
