Parton, 75, worked on the dessert with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams for the benefit of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
The non-profit organization describes itself as a ‘book gift program that sends free, high-quality books to children by email from birth to five years, regardless of their family’s income.’

The dessert contains ‘low salt-crackling sprinkles, finely sweet and effortlessly perky cream cheese ice cream and a red strawberry sauce with lipsticks,’ Jeni’s said
Jeni’s gave an update on the availability, saying that it was still unable to meet the demand, but that they had “worked a bell” to get the product for sale again.
“We are not there yet,” the company said. ‘As promised, we will give 48 hours by email and social media notice before releasing the flavor, but we wanted to let you know that it will not be the weekend. Thank you again for your patience! ‘
