The Doctor Who New Year’s Day holiday has introduced two new types of Daleks that are at war with each other.

But even without the doctor, Graham, Yaz, and Ryan get into trouble in the New Year’s Day holiday special, “Revolution of the Daleks,” when their old acquaintance, Jack Robertson, spearheads a new project to secure security bumps across the board. Of course, these Daleks unexpectedly end up their creator and attack the world. But they are not the only new Daleks introduced in this holiday special: ‘Revolution of the Daleks’ debuts an even more deadly version of the classic Doctor was enemies, the Death Squad Daleks.
The Drone Daleks designed by Jack Robertson and his team is a sleek, new black-and-silver model with light stripes that look like something out of Tron. But even though they are designed to be nothing more than Roberts, the chief scientist of Robertson discovers alien DNA in the destroyed shell of the original Recon Dalek. He can then clone the cells and create his own Dalek, unaware of what the squid-like alien is really capable of.
Unknown to the scientist, this Dalek is able to take control of some of Robertson’s assets, and turn a facility into a Dalek farm. As a result, thousands of these new Daleks are cloned; when they are finally transported to their robot shells, the Drone Daleks are born – and they waste no time attacking the world and killing as many people as possible.
The situation seems hopeless. Fortunately, however, the doctor returns to Earth with the help of Captain Jack Harkness. After being reunited with her companions, she devises a plan to defeat the new Daleks using what she describes as a core option: to send a signal through the Time Vortex that passes through a special race Daleks , the Death Squad, is picked up. she refers to the SAS Daleks.
The Daleks are terrifying creatures who want to destroy them to wipe out anything in their path – yet there is a whole squadron known as an elite Death Squad. This Daleks looks just like the traditional modern version of the monsters more effective in eradication.
The Dalek Death Squad follows the signal and arrives on Earth today to find the planet under attack by the cloned Daleks, which they consider impure. Therefore, the Dalek Death Squad is doing its mission to destroy all the Drone Daleks to eliminate this impurity. Even the original Recon Dalek, brought to life by Roberston’s scientist, is considered defective and therefore eliminated by the Death Squad.
The result is a total war between Daleks over the skies of Britain, one that is eventually won by the Death Squad Daleks. And if this problem is finally taken care of, the doctor who’s just left is to catch the Death Squad Daleks and pack them into nothingness.
These two new types of Daleks join the larger ranks of the classical Doctor Who monsters in a year that have already introduced several new Daleks in the Time Lord Victorious crossover event. The Drone Daleks are destroyed, but the Death Squad Daleks are simply trapped in the Void – and they can always return to take their revenge on the doctor.
