Most engineering is familiar, but there are also interesting things.
For example, the performance in Surface Pro 7+ for Business is now thinner (not the edge, we’re talking deep). Microsoft uses the same display technology as the pioneer in Surface Pro X in Surface Pro 7+ for Business. The result? Microsoft can pack a larger battery of 50.4 watts per hour. The previous Surface Pro 7 had only one 43.2 watt hour.
Combined with the 11th generation Intel processors, which deliver 2.1 times the performance of the 10th generation Surface Pro 7, it’s no wonder that Surface Pro 7+ gets 4.5 hours of business improvement. Even the LTE version is rated 13.5 hours, three hours longer than Surface Pro 7.
Microsoft is also showcasing some of the new packaging ideas they use for Surface Pro 7+ for Business, which reduce costs, delivery weight, are cheaper for the environment and facilitate the distribution of larger quantities of devices to businesses.

You can also see where the removable SSD door is and how it all works in the video.
Finally, as in the previous Surface Pro with LTE, Microsoft only offers 4G LTE Advanced in the Core i5 model. The reason for this is that the Core i7 has a fan, but the Core i5 model does not. Microsoft is replacing the 4G LTE modem with the fan, which saves space and means Microsoft did not have to redesign the 4G model.
Business and education customers in select markets in Asia, Europe and North America can order Surface Pro 7+ from their local retailers today, and shipping begins later this week. Prices start at $ 899 and rise to $ 2800 for the new 32GB / 1TB option.
Better and faster than ever
