Disneyland is now a super site of COVID-19

The Disneyland resort in Anaheim will serve as Orange County’s first ‘Super Point-of-Dispensing’ (POD) site for COVID-19 vaccinations, which begins later this week, officials announced Monday.

Disneyland and four other local sites will soon be administering thousands of vaccines every day to residents who are most vulnerable to ill effects of the disease. Officials will announce the other sites as the agreements expire.

Those eligible for phase 1a vaccinations include first responders and individuals aged 75 years and older, as determined by the Department of Health. Officials said prepaid vaccine recipients will be contacted to schedule appointments via an app; walk-ups will not be served, according to a statement.
