Discovery + launches in the US starting at $ 5 per month

The latest streaming service, Discovery +, is now available to interested parties who want to bing strict channels of channels such as HGTV, Animal Planet, Food Network and Heaven forbid, TLC.

In total, Discovery + offers access to more than 2,500 TV shows, as well as new originals, all at a starting price of $ 4.99 per month (per ad). For an ad-free experience, you pay $ 6.99 per month. If you happen to be a Verizon customer, your price is much better. In fact, you pay nothing for the first 12 months of an ad-free account. Happy ducks. The only caveat is that you need a certain wireless or internet internet plan. More details can be seen here for Verizon customers.

Back at Discovery +, access to the service was well thought out. At launch, there are apps for all the different platforms including Android TV, Xbox, Roku, Apple and more.

If you want to get started, Discovery + is offering one free week of use, so even if you do not plan to sign up, I would recommend seeing the new Irwin family program when it’s ready. I love those kids.
