Disco Elysium: The Final Cut on PlayStation has some bugs that you need to investigate

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, an upgraded version of one of 2019’s most acclaimed titles, hit consoles last week with the game’s release on PlayStation 4 and 5. But fans who were looking forward to finally try Disco Elysium on the console (including myself) got a lot of bugs, and developer ZA / UM still hasn’t released a promised update.

Most errors are small but annoying, like fine buttons or voice lines that do not cause if they should. (The last one is especially frustrating, as every line of dialogue is supposed to be a new change The final track.) But players also report a bigger problem: some important tasks cannot be completed at all. (Last night I came across one of these erroneous commands myself.)

On March 31, a day after the match came out, ZA / UM shared it what comes in the 1.2 update, including smoother controls and corrections for ‘different’ voice problems. But the developers have not yet said exactly when the patch will be released, and we do not know if it will address everything that has been reported.

I like Disco Elysium: The Final Cut many so far, despite the mistakes. But if you’ve been thinking about getting it on PlayStation, I’d recommend waiting for ZA / UM to iron out the issues before uploading it.
