Director Neil Druckmann, the last of us, in Part II on which established IP he wants to make a game

News

Neil Druckmann, co-president and creative designer of The Last of Us Part II and Uncharted 4, reveals the established IPs for which he would like to make a game.

When asked by Greg Miller of Kinda Funny Game, the question is purely hypothetical and should not be taken seriously at all as a hint as to what Naughty Dog is up to.

It’s still interesting to imagine what it would be like if Druckmann and the Naughty Dog team decided to make a game in the Punisher universe.

Here are Druckmann’s top 5:

The Punisher is really an interesting one. I just packed The Last of Us Part II myself and the violent game seen in that title will definitely work well in a game set in the Punisher world.

It seems like one day it would probably be acceptable if Naughty Dog ever had the time and could get permission to work with the IP.

However, we arrive in pure fantasy land, but with a few other choices. I salute the idea that Naughty Dog is making a Hotline Miami game, but it’s never going to happen and certainly not Half-Life either.

This is good, because it’s purely hypothetical. Do not be alarmed by a Cowboy Bebop game developed by Naughty Dog!
