Dikharia Shaffer, TikTok star, dies at 18

TikTok star Dazharia Shaffer has died at the age of 18.

The young star’s father, Joseph Santiago, known online as Bxbygirlldee, confirmed on a GoFundMe page that his daughter died earlier this week.

‘On February 8, my daughter dazharia left us early and called [sic.] to fly with the angels, “he wrote.” She was my little best friend and I was in no way willing to bury my child. “

Baton Rouge Coroner’s office confirmed to Fox News that she died of suicide, but Louisiana law prevents them from sharing further. They also said she died Tuesday, rather than Monday, as her father said online.

In his post, Santiago remembers that Shaffer was ‘so happy’ and ‘so excited’ to see him when he ‘would get off the road’.

“I just wish she would have talked to me about her stress and the thoughts of suicide,” he continued. “We can work through this. I just want to keep my little jelly bean for you again. Now I come to your house and you [sic.] is not going to be there anymore and wait for me. I must make you fly with the angels. Daddy loves you. ‘
