Dickinson Co. Public Health announces the next phase of COVID vaccinations

(Spirit Lake) – Dickinson County Public Health announced today (Friday) that it will follow in line with the state’s plan to move to the next phase of COVID-19 vaccinations.

With effect from 1 February, those in group 1B will start receiving the vaccine. This includes 65 and older, first responders, including firefighters, police officers and child welfare workers, along with Pre-K to 12th grade school staff, early childhood education and childminders.

A press release from Dickinson County Public Health states that plans for vaccination clinics are currently being determined and that those who are eligible to receive the vaccine will receive calls or emails in advance so they can schedule appointments.

According to the release, Dickinson County receives an average of 200 doses of vaccine per week.
