Oil is a game about Faraday’s quest, a man who suffers shipwreck and is then trapped in the mysterious land of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other robbers try to leave this hostile land to return to their homelands. Through adventurous exploration, narration and razor-sharp battles, the player will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic lady to whom Faraday commits himself over time. Olija is inspired by stories and film-like adventure games and is a story about the unknown in adversity.

  • Use the harpoon of the legend and reconsider movement through platform, puzzles and battles.
  • Rescue fellow escapees and meet curious characters to learn more about Terraphage and the enigmatic Olija.
  • Beautiful melancholic soundtrack inspired by Flamenco, lo-fi and traditional Japanese music.
