Quarterback Devlin Hodges does not know what his future holds, but his career in Pittsburgh is over.
Hodges’ contract with the Steelers expired, and he tweeted goodbye on Tuesday.
‘[Peace] Pittsburgh! Grateful for the opportunity and the ability to live out my dream, ”Hodges wrote. “Nothing but love! QUAK!”
Hodges joined the Steelers in 2019 as an unknown free agent. Ben Roethlisberger and Mason Rudolph’s injuries forced Hodges into the series, and he played eight games as a rookie, including six starts.
He has not played this season.
Hodges started 3-3 in 2019 and finished with 1,063 passing steps, five touchdowns and eight distinctions.
