A third woman has filed a civil lawsuit against Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson, alleging that he forced her to perform oral sex on him.
Attorney Tony Buzbee filed the case, saying it was the third of six being filed against Watson. All the lawsuits filed so far accuse Watson of sexually assaulting a masseuse.
“Watson’s behavior is part of a disturbing pattern of preying on vulnerable women,” reads the third case, which was filed Wednesday night, according to ESPN’s Sarah Barshop.
According to the lawsuit, Watson contacted the woman via Instagram and planned a massage on Dec. 28 in Houston. Similar to allegations in the other two lawsuits, the woman said Watson was wearing only a small towel when she entered the room to perform the massage. Watson allegedly “aggressively, forcing her to move her hand down to his pubic area. ‘
According to the case, Watson said he can “help, or hurt, her career” and the woman “was afraid of what someone like Watson could do if she did not comply with his demands “to perform oral sex on him.” The woman said she did not agree.
Watson has all allegations in a Twitter post Tuesday. In the report, Watson said he was approached about a six-figure settlement, but he wanted to ‘make it clear’ [his] name. “He also personally accused Buzbee of looking for money.
“I have never treated any woman with anything but the utmost respect,” Watson said.
Buzbee reacted in his Instagram post about the third lawsuit, denying that the case is about money.
“I do not need ‘fame’, and, to be honest, and I say it as modestly as I can, if I never earn another cent, I will be quite okay,” Buzbee said. The point is that I am not pursuing these cases for the money, and every woman who has filed so far has only the minimum amount to plead the jurisdiction of the court ($ 500). It’s not about the money! “
The Texans issued a statement on Wednesday saying they take the allegations “seriously” but will not make any further statements at that time.
In January, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Watson requested a trade at Houston.
