After it is disabled Destiny 2trials of Osiris mode last weekend as a result of an exploitation, Bungie announced in its weekly blog post on Thursday that it has been keeping the mode out for an indefinite period of time as it continues to investigate the issue.
Last week, a winning trading method that has been around for some time exploded, and players from Trials around the world started winning trading to Flawless. This is how it works: Players equip certain emblems to indicate that they are games to trade victories with the other team; the two Fireteam leaders throw virtual dice over chat; and the winning team rejoins the game on the characters they want to win with, while the losing team runs back. Do it plenty of times, and the Guardians who only pop in when their Fireteam leader wins the role get a free ride to the lighthouse.
It is an extremely complicated and intricate system; you can see Destiny PvP YouTuber Aztecross explains the bug in more detail in the video above. It is currently unclear how long it will take before Bungie fixes this issue. But as Aztecross notes, at the moment it feels a little silly to turn off game mode to keep the integrity of trials intact after a full year of awkward fraud.
In other news, Bungie has urged players to try the 12-player raid bug in which it is currently Destiny 2and said the studio is not trying to fix it. Bungie did note that because the activities in question are not intended for 12 players, it might get a little weird. The studio said it would fix the bug before Grandmaster Nightfalls returns on March 16, presumably to maintain the integrity of the rewards that come out of it, such as the Conqueror title.
Bungie has also announced a community vote, where players can choose between a new dinosaur-themed armor or a monster-themed monster-themed movie.
Later this year, during Destiny 2Bungie will be selling new armor for Silver (real money) or Bright Dust (currency used in the game used to buy cosmetics) during the Halloween Walk-in Festival. The armor sets of Silver or Bright-Dust are pretty common for holiday events in Destiny, but this year, players can vote on what they want.

The first possibility is a set based on classic movie samples. We wore a Hunter dressed as Godzilla, a Warlock dressed as the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and a Titan dressed as the Cyclops.

The second set contains some dinosaurs being watched by Guardians. There’s the Hunter in their birds of prey, the Warlock in their Triceratops armor, and the Titan in their T. rex armor. Based on the initial internet reaction, it seems that the dino series will win this vote on a large scale.
Fans who want to cast their vote – to help the Dino win or restore balance by voting for the movie sample set – can fill out Bungie’s recording. These armor sets are likely to appear in play between September and November this year.
