Destiny 2: Trials Of Osiris Canceled Yet Again

Destiny 2’s Trials of Osiris event has been canceled for the third consecutive week due to a technical issue. This comes when Bungie players who are engaged in ‘winning trades’ want to stop by deliberately throwing matches.

The issue this time around, according to Bungie, is related to ‘Fireteam Rejoin functionality’, which certainly sounds like it’s the same issue as before. Trials of Osiris are available on March 12, but it will not be available for the rest of the weekend.

It usually lasts about four days, giving players the chance to get high-level equipment if they can make a flawless seven-win series. It is for this reason that players are already throwing matches so that others have a clear path to victory. It is unclear how Bungie intends to stop this problem for the better.

If you have already accessed The Lightouse area via a flawless map, you will still be able to use it this weekend. You will also be able to use any of your trial tokens during this period, so those who have already achieved a series of seven wins seem to have been lucky this week.

As usual, Xur is still available this weekend if you want to get other powerful equipment. You can always get an exotic engram from him that will turn into an item you do not yet own, which makes it worth checking out every week.

Destiny 2 players will have to wait a little longer than expected for the next expansion of the game, The Witch Queen, to release. This was pushed to 2022, in part because of the impact that COVID-19’s work-from-home changes had on the development team and because Bungie wants to continue improving the system.
