Destiny 2 Stasis PvP Balance Sheet

On Tuesday, Bungie launched a massive target range Destiny 2‘s Stasis – the game’s latest powerhouse – to the relief of Destiny’s hardcore PvP community. Hotfix 3.1.1.1 fixes some bugs, but it’s mainly aimed at the repressive power of Stasis, especially in the multiplayer arena of the game.

Scroll down for a complete list of patch notes.

One of the biggest changes for all three classes is to the Duskfield grenade. The grenade’s pull radius is about a third of what it was, from 9.5 meters to 6 meters. The grenade field also does not slow down players so quickly. Stasis Crystals also handles reduced Shatter damage, which means it will not be as dangerous to players in the area.

Hunters, Titans and Warlocks also saw some individual changes. Hunter’s Shatterdive now has a cooling of four seconds, and Wither Blade inflicts less damage to players in PvE. Titans no longer freeze players in the area when they activate Glacial Quake, and they take on more damage while doing Supering. Warlocks actually got a favorite in their Super PvP detection, but the explosion for frozen targets is now scaling down.

Many of these changes only apply to PvP, and most of these abilities should be just as strong in PvE as a week ago.
