(CNN Español) – Families and friends will love the ultimate farewell to the mortal remains of Katherine Díaz Hernández, part of El Salvador’s surf selection.
In a caravan of vehicles, family and friends transport the railroad from the church of God’s Manifolds of Vida Eterna, in the play El Tunco, the general cement of El Puerto de La Libertad. “I really want to go down with Dios”, wrote on his Facebook account Adelmo Rivas, Díaz.
The 22-year-old boy was killed by a train in the Playa El Tunco area, 38 kilometers south-east of San Salvador, according to the National Institute of Sport (INDES).

The training will take place for the World Surfing Game competition, which will take place between May 29 and June 6 in El Salvador, a classification event to select the last 12 cups for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Emotivo homage
A group of surfers in Ecuador took part in a moving ceremony in front of the beach to pay homage to Díaz, watching a video posted by Dominic Barona on social media.
Surfers set up a cross in the arena and put together a photo of Diaz on flowers that form a surfboard. “In our hearts always be herman. Me quedo con todo lo lindo, las risas, los surfing, tu energía y tu corazón tan puro. Following brilliantly from now on the sky ”, wrote Baron, Ecuadorian surfer.
In the video the surfers have a wall of honor with their tables and lies are introduced to the sea. “I’m sure you’re surfing the best days in Paris,” Barona agreed in his post.
