Madrid, 29 ene. (EFE) .- The designer Carlota Barrera presented his first collection / will be 2021 in which he will leave behind the sensation of comfort and well-being that everyone has searched in his locker room in the last months.
From his studio in London, the Asturian designer presented the collection “Huis is’ n Feeling” inspired, explained, in concepts that were all redefined during our coronavirus marketing months: “hogar” and “libertad”.
“The sense of belonging and comfort, the sensation of being left behind, of losing. The nostalgia of who lives in the hogar and the sensation of fullness in the horizon of our neighbors’ horizon”, Barrera explained in a statement.
The collection is an ode to the sentiments, the place to live, the place to be as corporate as emotional. A way of experimenting, initiating a dialogue about gender and the substitution of the “rigid” masculine codes for new masculinity in constant “evolution”.
In its new proposition, the sastria is presented as being reinvented in more ligament pieces, offering a contemporary and fluid silhouette.
The collection incorporates pieces and emblems of the designer as tassels without scarves, tassels with shorts, print marks and high-heeled trousers.
With a nostalgic reminiscence of the markings of the market in the coast of Spain, the details of fishing are reflected in the entire collection, from point-of-sale prints in marble to high-quality accessories and mosquitoes.
Treated, like Barrera, with a related reinforcement and repair of esmoquin shirts, the introduction of denim yarns and, one more time, the celebration of craftsmanship with tops made of mano and pieces of complete handwork.
