Deschutes County: This week’s COVID-19 vaccinations have all been discussed

At Redmond fair; pharmacies receive doses; other clinics from doses

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – The Oregon Health Authority awarded 1,300 first-dose COVID-19 vaccines to Deschutes County for the week – and by the end of the first day of appointments on Tuesday, they were all booked.

“This week’s vaccine appointments are now fully booked,” the country said late Tuesday afternoon. “No additional appointments are available. Information on the allocation of vaccines and the availability of appointments next week is expected to be available on Friday.”

Starting Tuesday at 9 a.m., eligible individuals online or by phone have scheduled appointments to receive their first dose of vaccine at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center.

Call 541-699-5109 if you need help planning a vaccination. Staff are available seven days a week from 09:00 to 17:00.

Federal Retail Pharmacy Program

Some retail pharmacies in Central Oregon offer the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible groups through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 vaccination. Due to the limited supply, there will not be enough vaccines to vaccinate all eligible Oregonians. Appointments can be available through:

Other vaccine clinics

There are 100 first dose appointments available to residents through Mosaic Medical. Additional appointments are not available. Please do not call the clinic to inquire about receiving a vaccine.

There are 100 appointments for first doses available through the La Pine Senior Center for residents. Additional appointments are not available.

St Charles Family Care in Madras will provide the vaccine to some eligible patients this week. All appointments are full. Please do not call the clinic to inquire about receiving a vaccine.
