The Director of the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), Enrique García, said that he had succeeded in succeeding with the National Plan for the Regulation of Foreigners and had some participation in the civilian register of Haitians living in the country.
García signaled that the entity that directs itself is governed by the policies of the National Council on Migration and that there are no notifications regarding the decision of both situations prevailing.
“As far as the regulation plan is concerned, we as the Directorate of Migration are the executors of the policy that determines the National Council on Migration. In this respect, we hope that the council will meet and take the decision that will be adopted with respect to the plan “, specific director.
While being questioned about the DGM, there is some type of participation in the civilian register of Haitians residing in Dominican territory, including an agreement between both countries, García maintains a similar response.
“The civil registry in Haiti is an irregular one and Dominican has been working since time immemorial to normalize its registry. Residence by inversion
During the company of the agreement, the director of the DGM, explained that he “facilitates” the foreigners who invest in the country to obtain more easily his residence, but that they must make a minimum investment of 200 million dollars.
“In our country with 200 million dollars invested by any foreigner, there is the option to come to the General Directorate of Migration and we will give the facilities for a residence for inversion”, explanation.
If the entry of the residence by inversion takes place in 45 days, it is faster than a “normal residence” that is approximately three months old.
