Trent Brown was ultimately not a stalwart on offense for Derek Carr and the Raiders.
After signing a $ 66 million four-year deal with Las Vegas ahead of the 2019 season, Brown played only 16 of 32 games in subsequent campaigns. The Raiders on Tuesday decided to cut bait with Brown and allegedly swap him with the Patriots as part of a draft swap.
Despite not meeting expectations with the Silver and Black, Brown still has a fan in Carr, who commented on one of the Instagram posts that the veteran approach delivered after rejoining New England joined.
“Appreciate your brother!” Carr wrote.
Brown is now returning to the team with which he posted his best professional season to date. The Patriots still have a lot of work to do to correct their broken offense, but the offensive line is set to be a strong case for New England in 2021.
