Denver facilitates mask mandate with COVID-19 restrictions to follow

Denver no longer has to wear masks in outdoor conditions as it prepares to resolve the COVID-19 restrictions.

However, in the mandate of the provincial mask, face masks must still be worn in indoor environments and when people use public transportation.

The changes to the mask sequence, which take effect immediately, come as Denver officials move the province to Level Blue on the state’s color code, which is used by public health officials to implement COVID-19 policies. The province is currently one step higher at the yellow level and still meets the criteria for the higher level.

Colorado public health officials plan to hand over control of COVID-19 health measures to local officials on Friday, which means restrictions will be lifted in many counties, despite the state seeing coronavirus cases and hospitalizations increase.
