Denmark shares AstraZeneca Covid vaccines with poorer countries after declaring Jabs too dangerous – WHO – RT World News

The Danish Health Authority is investigating the shipment of its AstraZeneca Covid vaccines to poorer countries, despite the fact that the tissue paper poses a ‘real risk of serious side effects’, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

WHO European chief Hans Kluge announced the plan on Thursday, a day after Denmark became the first country on the continent to permanently remove the samples from its vaccine explosion amid an investigation into the possible side effect of blood clots.

The plan to share the vaccines with poorer countries has not yet been finalized, and Denmark has not released specific details, but Kluge said “The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to investigate all options” for the distribution of the stings to countries in need.

Denmark’s health officials on Wednesday announced the decision to stop using the drug, stating that it was due to “A possible link between very rare cases of unusual blood clots, bleeding, low platelet count” and the vaccine, warning “There is a real risk of serious side effects.”

The Danish plan comes days after the WHO warned that the pandemic on a “critical point,” despite the deployment of vaccines in richer countries, as it happens “Exponential growth” due to an increase in infections in poorer countries. Maria Van Kerkhove, WHO official, expressed concern and blamed the failure to distribute vaccines evenly, citing how jabs “Is not yet here in all parts of the world.”

The WHO has managed the international Covax scheme to ensure a more equitable distribution of Covid doses amid accusations that richer countries are engaging in vaccine nationalism, which is rapidly gaining traction for domestic use.
