Democrats debated whether to lower income levels, but the version voted in committee this week gives full amounts to individuals with an income of up to $ 75,000 and couples with an income of up to $ 150,000. The legislation also extends child tax credit, broadens childcare assistance and strengthens health insurance tax credits.
