An insider claims that the rumors Death Stranding: Extended Edition may be released soon.
Back in January 2021, ResetEra user Navtra claims that a new version of Death Stranding will be coming to PS4 and PS5. The user also claims that this new version of the 2019 game will feature brand new story content that players can experience on both platforms.
The same user now claims that the expanded edition of Death Stranding will be released soon. In a new comment, Navtra claims that the revised version of Kojima Productions’ game has been ‘ready-made’ for some time and they expect it to be announced within a month in advance.
This would actually not be the first time that content moves to Death Stranding after the launch. Last year in 2020, Kojima Productions added several items from Cyberpunk 2077 to Death Stranding, including a redesigned bike and outfit for protagonist Sam Porter Bridges.
In addition, writer and director Hideo Kojima teased the work last year on a few things related to Death Stranding. Last March, actor Norman Reedus strongly hinted at collaborating with Hideo Kojima again, giving it more confidence in more Death Stranding content in the works. At the moment we have to wait to see if the rumors are true.
