The Walmart at 5851 Mercury Dr. in Dearborn was temporarily closed until 7 a.m. Monday to allow time for a thorough cleaning by a third-party crew, according to a news release from the company.
The release states: “Everything we do is for the well-being of our employees and customers, and taking into account the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and health experts.”

Walmart has also promised to continue with pandemic protocols after the closure, including no-wait at registers, temperature controls, employees’ emergency leave policies and mask mandates, social distance signage and more.
No other information about the closure was available at the time.
