Dead by Daylight’s upcoming chapter has been amid rumors for some time. There is a lot of hype surrounding the update, especially due to the fact that it will indicate the arrival of a new killer and survivor in the game.

After teasing the upcoming chapter for a while, Behavior Interactive has finally released the update on PTB. The new Killer is called the Trickster, while the new Survivor is called the Yun-Jin Lee. In addition, there are several other new features, such as privacy settings for parties and chat filters. When this update will make its live servers remains to be seen. Dead By Daylight PTB 2021 – Features

  • Added a new killer – The Trickster

The rust

  • Its first-person animations and camera position have been adjusted higher

  • A collision in the initial interaction screen has been corrected.
  • A bug in the Play as Killer lobby has been fixed which may occur if you repeatedly hold down the Ready button to cancel the search.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Killers from dropping to the top of the chairs in Ormond’s chalet.
  • Fixed issue that could cause an accident when Victor is used to attack a survivor when they leave the trial.
  • Problem solved that could cause Victor to get stuck in the hills, unique to the Rooibos maps.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the infected VFX behind the surviving icon to not be fully completed when the Survivor was affected by the broken status effect.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Survivors to remain standing until they move when they are off a Deep Wound status.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Killers and Survivors to be seen hovering over Asylum maps in certain places.
  • A problem has been resolved that caused the Survivor’s health bar to stop flashing when the timer was interrupted.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the trace of punishment from the damn sound effect to continue playing, even if there are no paths left.
  • Fixed issue that caused Survivor not to stay on the ground after dying status animation occurred
  • Fixed issue that could cause players to spawn (i.e. unable to move) in a collision when loading on the Dead Dawg Saloon map
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the repair of a generator from the light pole side in Grim Pantry
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent Survivor health bars from being visually accurate (bar appears blank before Survivor dies).
  • Fixed an issue that caused the icon on the ground to overlap with the progress bar when fitted with certain items (only if the HUD scale in the game is 85% or lower).

Call only:

  • Fixed an issue where selecting an Archive movie would briefly play some frames from the last movie previously viewed.
  • Fixed an accident that could occur if you hold both buttons to switch between survivors in spectator mode.

Stages only:

  • Fixed an issue with the UI instructions appearing on the wrong platform when using a keyboard and a controller.

Known issues

  • Victor can get stuck in the basement and cannot attack survivors
  • The nurse may not be able to do anything after a wink
  • Survivors do not generate Killer Instinct when communicating with the Demogorgon portal
  • Survivors will pinch or float during some interactions within the environment
  • Survivors do not look back at all when crouching near a wall or asset
  • Hex: Ruin repair generators not automatic
  • Projectiles go through pallets
  • Oni’s sword ‘Yamaoka Blade’ apparently stretches illegally from a distance
  • Ammunition items in cupboards can not spawn unless the Trickst
