A Washington DC police officer, who was seen crushing a viral video in a door by a pro-Trump mob during a Capitol siege last week, said it was a pleasure to be a white nationalist to crush revolt.
“If it were not for my job, I would have done it for free. It was my pleasure to crush a white nationalist uprising,” Daniel Hodges said. NBC. “I’m glad I was able to help. We will do it as many times as it takes. ‘
Hodges said he was pinned to the door as he tried to push the crowd back.
“They ripped off my mask. Stolen my equipment. Save me up. Spray me with everything,” he said.

On January 6, supporters of President Donald Trump violated the Capitol and clashed with law enforcement, halting the joint session of Congress, while lawmakers discussed debates on election votes. Five people were killed, including a Capitol police officer and a woman who were shot by law enforcement officers while taking part in the riot.
Trump has since been charged by the House of Representatives with a charge of ‘incitement to rebellion’. The Senate will soon hold a trial and vote on whether the president is convicted.
The departments of Justice, Defense, Home Affairs and Homeland Security have meanwhile commissioned internal investigators to investigate what information authorities had before the attack and how they prepared.
There have been several reports pointing to a lack of action on key security information, including a Jan. 5 FBI report warning that pro-Trump insurgents were planning a ‘war’ on the next day at the To conduct American Capitol.
It was also found that dozens of people were on the FBI’s terror watch list – mostly those categorized as white supremacists – on the day of the attack in Washington, DC.
