There’s a coronavirus vaccine for it, and district officials want Washingtonians to be on their guard.

Vaccines and vaccine providers must be screened and approved by the Department of Health of DC.
“And the only place you can get a vaccine is through hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and doctor’s offices and through a registered and approved service provider authorized clinics,” Nesbitt said.
“There is no sale of vaccines on the premises, no one will have to buy a vaccine for price and have it administered by someone who considers themselves a healthcare provider or otherwise.”
She asked people who saw the scam or who were contacted and bought a vaccine to call DC police at 202-727-4159.
“We want to ensure that all of our residents have fair access to vaccines in the District of Columbia. And we like that all scams are reported, ”Nesbitt said.
