Dbrand challenges Sony to sue them for selling matte black PS5 discs

Dbrand, the company behind personal phone cases, cases and screens that recently unveiled its new matte-black ‘dark plates’, is now haunting Sony to charge it.

The accessory is unofficial and not an original Sony product and is only meant to beautify the PS5. To provide some context to the case, the accessory firm PlateStation5.com, which will sell custom PlayStation faceplates, had to cancel all its shares and renew itself as CustomizeMyPlates.com after Sony lawyers complained about the trademark infringement .

Currently, Dbrand has sold out all its matte dark leaves and the company is waiting for the stock. The dark plate has a unique design with a small PlayStation button icon microtexture that the company boldly calls ‘a familiar but legally-distinguishable apocalyptic twist on the classic PlayStation button shapes’.

Dbrand sells matte black darkboards for PS5 versions for discs for $ 49.00, adding a center skin that raises the price to $ 60.95. The digital PS5 edition, dark boards, costs $ 19.95 with a mid-skin, but the matte black design has yet to be made available for it.
