Phoenix Labs has a brand new update in Dauntless this week as Frost Escalation was added along with a new Hunt Pass. The technical name 1.5.3 adds a ton of new content, along with the new Realm of Ice Hunt Pass, as well as a new threat for Slayers to stand in the Urska. We have the details below as the update is now ready to be downloaded.

So many more dangers and amazing things to find in Dauntless with this update. Thanks to Phoenix Labs.

  • FROST ESCALATION: The permafrost began to melt, revealing fragments of an ancient past … and awakening something deep in the ice. Fight through Skaldeskar’s frozen lands with the help of his warrior queen, Linnea Silver, and seek the Urska in a new escalation. But beware … all the journey through Skaldeskar carries the risk of freezing bites: an unsuitable condition that can freeze a Slayer in their tracks.
  • REQUIREMENT: Frost Escalation’s keystone Behemoth is the Urska – a nightmare drawn from the pages of the Skaldish legend. Collect Urska parts in Frost Escalation to forge new legendary weapons and armor. These powerful rips have a new legendary ability (for weapons) and a new advantage (for armor). You can also unlock a complete cosmetic range through the Frost Escalation talent tree.
  • REALM OF ICE HUNT PASS: February 4 also launches new launch Dauntless Hunt Pass: Realm of Ice. Upgrade to Elite to unlock access to two sets of armor: the Frost Shaper (level 1) and the Paladin of Vylmark (level 50). These pieces are inspired by the gleaming lights of the polar aurora and will shine in any collection.
  • NEW RUMORS: Talk to Honest Ozz and discover two brand new rumors. Attract the heat of the sun itself by unlocking the Searing Dawn helmet skin of “A Vision of Fire”. If the darkness of the night is more your style, complete the “Shadow Boxing” rug for the Thorns of Dusk skin.
