“Danger!” viewers were stunned on Wednesday when all three contestants could not identify comedian Dave Chappelle in his photo.
The shocking moment arrived during the Double Jeopardy! In the round of the match, where host Ken Jennings presented what many think at home, it’s an easy clue for a $ 2,000 question.
“This comedian showed off his drama chops in ‘A Star Is Born,’ which Bradley Cooper’s longtime friend played,” Jennings read.
As if the clue is not obvious enough, participants even get a photo of Chappelle to help them answer the clue. Not only did no one know the answer, but no one could even venture a guess.

Chapelle has been in several movies before, but is perhaps best known for his hugely popular Comedy Central sketch series “The Chappelle Show”.
Jennings looked a little surprised at the moment, but the viewers at home were even more upset by the teacher. Several went to Twitter to share their frustration.
“Nobody knew @DaveChappelle? I hope they all lose. #Danger”, wrote one user.
‘All three adults on Jeopardy had to do was identify a photo of Dave Chappelle to get the question right. No one could do that. What?’ another wrote.
“They just asked the contestants on Jeopardy who it is and no one knows. Wow! Dave Chappelle,” another added.
“It’s crazy enough that a photo of @DaveChappelle tonight was a $ 2000 indication on Jeopardy – which’s more incredible that no one gets it right!” a user commented.
“Just watched a NEW episode of Jeopardy! In which none of the players @DaveChappelle knew of his photo and now I’m scared,” wrote another frustrated viewer.

The 47-year-old standup comedian did not publicly comment on the “Jeopardy!” participants’ lack of knowledge of him. However, it is possible that he currently has larger fish to fry after revealing last week that he is one of the many celebrities who have tested positive for the coronavirus.

He made the news just before his comedy show was due to start last Thursday. Chappelle has since canceled his upcoming performances, a spokesman said. Fortunately, the star’s representative said in a statement that he was not experiencing any symptoms and that he was home to be safe.
