Parler, the social media platform forced by Amazon offline after the deadly riot on Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol, could be up and running again early next week, co-owner Dan Bongino told Hannity on Thursday.
“We’re shooting for Monday,” said Bongino, who is also a Fox News contributor. Monday looks good. Fingers crossed. ‘
Bongino joined host Sean Hannity, one day after Fox News received a memo to employees of former CEO John Matze explaining why he was terminated by the board of directors last week.
Matze claims he had “continued resistance” to his original vision for Parler after Amazon Web Services’ decision to shut down the platform because serious content related to the riot in Capitol was not moderate.

“For example, I advocated for more product stability and what I believe is a more effective approach to content moderation,” Matze wrote.
Bongino disputes Matze’s allegations in a Facebook video published earlier Wednesday.
“I do not have a personal battle against John, the CEO, I want to be crystal clear,” he said, “but John decided to make it public, not us. We treat it like gentlemen.
“It was actually us who fought to uplift Parler again. There have been a lot of bad decisions made by people on the inside, and listen, it’s not us who air dirty laundry. It protects a company that is absolutely committed “is after freedom of speech, which I did the last year of my life. Do you really believe that anyone else was on the side of freedom of speech?”
“The relationship with Parler and the CEO did not work out because the CEO’s vision was not ours,” Bongino added later in the video. Is everyone clear about it? Our vision was crystal clear. We had to get up and fight back, some terrible decisions were made in the past that led to us being let down by Amazon and others. ‘

A Parler resident told Fox News on Thursday the delay was caused by new brands and changes taking place in the company for the sake of stability.
Parler has been widely embraced by Trump supporters and has seen an increase in users following Twitter’s permanent suspension of the former president last month.
