Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants Madden Simulation Week 17

Can the New York Giants win the playoffs and win the NFC East? Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys is the first piece the Giants need to leave for the Promised Land. As we did every game this season, we simulated this weekend’s game in Madden 21 to predict how the game might perform. According to Madden, the giant season may not end as the fans hope.

In this simulation, no team clearly had a significant advantage. Both teams traded shots in the first half, with the game going 14-14. Finally, in the third quarter, Greg Zuerlein gave Dallas a 17-14 lead.

With the game underway, and just one minute left, Dallas marches off the field and pushes the game out of reach with an Ezekiel Elliott rush. Daniel Jones did get a jolt and ended the score at 24-21.

Jones completed the game 20 of 26 for 212 yards, and two touchdowns. Evan Engram also had a decent day, reaching five receptions for 71 yards.

According to Madden, the Giants may be short of the Cowboys. With a chance of the playoffs on the line, the Giants will need a very different outcome than the simulated one.
