Daddy dilemma for Andrew Cuomo and his three daughters hit by scandal

Mariah Kennedy-Cuomo was seen arm-in-arm with her afflicted father outside the Executive Mansion in Albany when he called Friday.

But it is not clear how other two daughters of government Cuomo react to the sex harassment scandal engulfing their father, especially Michaela, 23, who was an outspoken advocate for victims of sexual assault while a student at the Brown University was. All three daughters were mothers.

In 2019, Michaela argued in an essay by Brown Political Review that official investigations into sexual assault defended the powers rather than ‘to decipher the truth or determine the consequences’.

The Cuomo government is now under investigation by a former political ally, Democratic Attorney General Letitia James, after as many as seven women – one claiming to have been touched by the governor under her blouse – came forward with allegations. He denied the claims, but apologized if his behavior made a woman feel uncomfortable.

Michaela wrote at the Ivy League institution that she attended that “survivors deserve to be believed and supported in their desired actions.”

According to her LinkedIn, Michaela also founded an activist group called ‘Cultivating Upstanders for Sexual Assault Prevention’, or CUSP. In a post on the group’s Instagram, “The Rape Pyramid” is set out, claiming that an “unwanted touch” will “strengthen and excuse higher actions.” The group’s Twitter account, @MakeLovebyCUSP, has been deactivated.

During 2020, the three daughters Cuomo had with ex-wife Kerry Kennedy – Cara and Mariah are 26-year-old twins – played a star in the government’s Emmy-winning TV briefing COVID-19. They are also drawn as characters on the governor’s poster funded by taxpayers, glorifying the government’s handling of the pandemic as the ‘infection rate’.

The governor is now facing increasing accusations of mismanagement of the pandemic, as well as sexual harassment and bullying. He resisted calls for resignation, including by many fellow Democrats, and called his critics ‘reckless’ because they had decided before official investigations.

His daughters’ social media on the matter was silent.

On March 9, Cuomo’s government told reporters that it had discussed the allegations of sexual misconduct with them.

“I told them what I told you, that is, I never touched anyone improperly. I never made inappropriate progress, and no one ever told me that at the time they felt I was leaving them uncomfortable or uncomfortable. did not feel, “he said, according to reports. “Let’s investigate and get the facts.”

Michaela tweeted in July that she’s looking for love, joking there is “more room for significant others on #boyfriendcliff.” One of her sisters’ pickups was depicted in the COVID-19 poster as on the edge of the ‘Boyfriend Cliff’.

Mariah, also a brown alum, is apparently going out with Tellef Lundevall, a former wide receiver of her alma mater’s soccer team, according to her Instagram message on Valentine’s Day.

As for Cara, The Post exclusively reported last year that she dated Dane Pfeiffer, a civil servant assigned to her father’s security details. After Governor Cuomo learned of the affair, Pfeiffer was transferred to a post near the Canadian border.
