Cyberpunk 2077 Update Fixes Game Breaker Error From Last Patch

CD Projekt Red hit the latest mole after which he accidentally added Cyberpunk 2077. After the big update last week, some players found that they could not progress at a certain point. Six days later, CDPR a solution rolled out for that game-breaking bug.

The issue occurred in the Down on the Street mission for players who saved their game during the “Wait for Takemura’s Call” objective on version 1.06 of Cyberpunk 2077. If a player loaded the storage into the 1.1 drawer, dialog options may have been missing during the call. The bug also prevented players from interacting with other characters. It was an issue that only came up under specific circumstances, but it was important to prevent players from progressing.

The 1.11 hotfix (now available on PC, consoles and Stages) also reversed a change in the randomness of items. CDPR wrote in the column notes that it should further investigate a “store / load loot loot”.

Earlier this week, CDPR released the first set of official modding tools for the game. Although modders have already had their fun with Cyberpunk 2077, the tool should enable more thinkers to build on CDPR’s vision of Night City as they await DLC and the next big patch that should solve more problems in the infamous buggy game.
