CD Project Red
If you have a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One is Best Buy currently sell it for $ 30 half the list price of $ 60. CD Project Red’s sci-fi game was only launched last month, but the console versions were worried about performance issues and bugs – even on the next generation PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Sony and Microsoft both remove Cyberpunk from their digital stores and refunds offered to unhappy customers in the wake of the rocky launch on December 10th. The problems were apparently particularly evident on the basic PS4 and Xbox One hardware (the original versions of the consoles in 2013).
Last week, the co-founder of the developer in an apology video that the console version of his game “does not meet the quality standard we wanted to meet” and set out his plans for solving the problems. The initial patch will be released in the next few days, with a larger one in a few weeks.
If you get Cyberpunk on PS4 or Xbox One, give access to a free next generation upgrade when the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are released later this year, but you can currently play them on next-generation consoles via backward compatibility.
