Cyberpunk 2077 Johnny Silverhand concept art has emerged and reveals the character playing Keanu Reeves originally looked very different.
Several pieces of concept art Cyberpunk 2077 recently appeared on artist Lea Leonowicz’s Artstation profile and painted a different picture of Johnny Silverhand. You can see one example of such a piece just below, which Silverhand looks a little older than the version of the character we finally meet in CD Project Red’s new game.
Unfortunately, Leonowicz did not provide any additional information along with the concept art for Johnny Silverhand, so it is impossible to guess when these pieces were compiled. We can not verify whether this is what Silverhand originally looked like before Keanu Reeves took over the role.
After all, it’s nice to see a slightly different Silverhand than what we recently had in Cyberpunk 2077 in Night City adventure. Maybe CD Project Red originally intended to see Silverhand’s personality and manners differently before Reeves took on the role, but unless someone from the development team sketches a very clear timeline of the character, we’ll probably never know for sure.
Cyberpunk 2077 did not exactly have the smoothest launch periods, with CD Project Red apologizing to customers for the game’s performance on PS4 and Xbox One and the refund of purchases on both platforms. Earlier this week, Gabe Newell, Valve, said he had “a lot of sympathy” for CD Project Red over the launch of the game, and that he was confident the company would get it right.
If you are still looking for Cyberpunk 2077, you can go to CD Project’s own PC store window, where the Cyberpunk 2077 GOG version already has 50% off. These are some murder savings on a very recent release.
