Cyberpunk 2077 Bans Unauthorized Keanu Reeves Sex

Cyberpunk 2077 creator CD Project Red wants mud to stop making Keanu Reeves a sex object. Following a fan who allowed players to have sex with Reeves’ character, Johnny Silverhand, the developer said PC player that user-generated content can not be ‘harmful to others’ – especially when it comes to mods. ‘In the case of model swap transactions, especially those involving explicit situations, it can be considered as such by the people who borrowed their appearance for the purpose of putting characters in Cyberpunk 2077,Said the developer.

It is noteworthy that Reeves’ character has a sex scene in the play, although it plays out from his perspective. As Johnny, the player has sex with a blonde woman who throws inexplicable booze on her white top on a background of guitar riffs while Johnny bounces her around.

Eurogamer first reported on the Nexus Mods files that swapped a “joytoy” character model of sex worker for Reeves’ Johnny. In the mod, Johnny – who is still dressed – is now the sexual character seen through the players’ eyes. It also uses the joytoy’s voice that performs during the short scene.

It is typical for players to customize their experience through mods, and the Cyberpunk community has been doing this since the game’s release. CD Project Red has just released official modding tools. However, the mod – which has since been hidden by the creator on Nexus Mods – crosses the line.

“For the characters we invented for the game, we generally allow you to customize the game at will and just have fun,” CD Project Red said. PC player. “When it comes to models of real people who have asked us to take part in the game, we kindly ask you to refrain from doing so in any situation that may be offensive if you do not have their express consent.”
