Cut-off pig’s head left outside the former home of Derek Chauvin defense witness in the trial of George Floyd

A severed pig’s head was found outside a house in Santa Rosa, California, that once belonged to Barry Brodd, a retired police officer who recently testified as an expert witness on behalf of Derek Chauvin, the former Minnesota police officer charged with the murder of George Floyd. Pig’s blood splattered all over the front of the house and garage, as well as on a nearby statue, where a sign with the words “Oink, Oink” was left behind. Police were called to the scene just after 3am on Saturday by the current owners of the house, who said a group of black-clad people threw the pig’s head on their front porch and sprinkled blood on their house. “It appears that the suspects in this vandalism targeted Mr. Brodd on his testimony,” Santa Rosa police said in a statement.
