NORTHEAST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – A South Florida juice bar kicked off the new year with a huge tip from one of their longtime customers.
Miami Squeeze in Northeast Miami-Dade posted the receipt on their Instagram page Friday afternoon.
“A wonderful customer of ours has blessed our entire team,” said owner Warren Amar.
The loyal customer wrote a note thanking the staff for everything they do and leaving a $ 2,021 fee on an order of $ 71.84, which leaves employees stunned and grateful.
“2021 has come to an end as expected,” Amar said.
Employees said they were grateful and humbled that someone was considering making the generous gesture.
“We’re always looking forward to this type of thing, and it’s an incentive for us to work harder and provide for it,” said manager Julian Salgado. “That’s why it’s so good. It’s always a revolving relationship. ”
“The community is our business. “If there is no community, we can not stay open, and we are very grateful that all these great clients of ours have become family at this stage,” said Amar.
With a difficult 2020 behind them, the staff of the juice bar said they hope to continue and serve the community as well as possible.
“We’re always going to win, no matter what we do, it’s for the people,” Amar said, “and if you do things from the heart, you will always win.”
The staff said they know who the customer is who left the large fee behind, but they want to keep her identity private.
