Cuba announces this Monday its intention to intervene in the III Cup of the Caribbean Basketball, pact from 17 to 24 April in Willemstad, capital of Curazao.
Higinio Vélez, head of the Cuban Federation of Bésbol (FCB), informs that in addition to the seat of the nation, the organizers confirm the presence of elencos of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Virgin Islands of the United States, Panama, Peru, Chile and Aruba.
In addition to offering invitations to Venezuela in Colombia, the member will take part in the preparation of the Cuban Rumba at the pre-Olympic tournament in the United States.
Respectively, the national commissioner Ernesto Reinoso specified that the nominee will emerge from the pre-selection to comply with the current local time, and will declare that he will respond to the resulting availability of the international contracting process in which he is working.
“The proposal is to favor the solicitations we have from other leagues, appearing as part of the preparation, succeeding with women representing us in Japan, and traveling to Curacao with a team that reunites players involved in their injuries,” he explained.
