CONNECTICUT – It looks like many of us will be accumulating some snow on Sunday. A dangerous weather forecast was announced ahead of the expected snow on Sunday.
The national weather service predicts that snow will accumulate for everyone except on the immediate coast where it will be largely a rain event. Even on the coast there is a chance of a light snow accumulation as the rain ends up as a bit of wet snow.
But before we reach Sunday and the snowfall, the weather from Saturday later in the day will be phenomenal as the sun will return and high temperatures could hit 50 degrees this afternoon.
There will be some rain and snow developing on Sunday afternoon, and it will be very light and it is predicted that it will change late Sunday early Monday in the inland parts of southern Connecticut and northern parts of the state.
