Crypto Whale suddenly shifts $ 932 million in Bitcoin in single transaction

A Kripta whale turns its head after moving Bitcoin nearly $ 1 billion in a single transaction.

The automated ledger monitoring tool known as Bitcoin Block Bot detect the massive BTC movement. According to Blockchain.com, the whale in question moved 20,099 BTC worth $ 932 million at a cost of about $ 37.

Before the enormous BTC migration took place, the sending crypto whale was the 39th largest Bitcoin holder on earth.

The BTC was sent to two unidentified wallets, the first of which received 300 BTC and was created on 16 December 2020. At present, the wallet contains only the 300 BTC he received from the crypto whale, which is worth about $ 14 million.

The second address involved in the transaction received a whopping $ 19,799.99 BTC worth approximately $ 928 million. According to BitInfoCharts, the wallet that received most of the BTC from the whale was created on the day of the transaction and still contains the entire amount of BTC it was sent.

The whale moves their massive BTC trophy on the same day that Bitcoin crosses the $ 47,000 mark.

Recent research from Crytpo analytics firm Glassnode indicates that since the beginning of 2021, there has been a huge increase in Bitcoin holders by more than 1,000 BTC.

The research firm also reports that Ethereum has seen a big jump in wallets that hold more than 10,000 ETH. For the past three months, ETH whales have increased according to Glassnode drastically ‘to reach levels not seen since May 2019.
