Crowds protest ‘SNL’ vaccine joke as anti-Semitism

“Saturday Night Live” did not laugh in West 49th Street, as dozens showed up with bullhorns and signs to protest last week’s joke about vaccinations in Israel.

The crowd, which aired hours before the show by former state legislator Dov Hikind, led ‘Shame on NBC!’ and “Anti-Semitism is not funny!” outside NBC’s West 49th Street entrance.

Comedian Michael Che caused a stir when he joked about a recent “Weekend Update” segment: “Israel reports that they have vaccinated half of their population. I’m going to guess it’s the Jewish half.”

“It’s amazing that they have not apologized yet,” Hikind told The Post.

‘They did something so horrible, so horrible, I’m personally sick and tired of a big network like NBC spreading hate. That’s basically what they did. ”

He promised to continue “everything that needs to be done” until the issue is acknowledged.

“I’m not going to keep quiet about these things that are really endangering the Jewish people,” he said.
