Critics mock NY government’s sudden termination of Cuomo because Trump hacked his Twitter account

January 11, 2021 11:52 by NewsDesk

New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo raised eyebrows on Monday by making a drastic public move over locks during the coronavirus pandemic.

Cuomo called for an example of this year’s state of the nation address and called for the New York economy to be reopened despite the slow effects of the coronavirus vaccine.

CUOMO’S BOOK LISTING ‘LEADERSHIP’ DURING PANDEMY JUST BEFORE ANY SPIKE IN HISTORY CASES, NOTICES

“We simply cannot stay closed until the vaccine reaches the critical mass. The cost is too high. We will have nothing left to open. We need to reopen the economy, but we need to do it smartly and safely. # SOTS2021 , “Cuomo tweeted.

Critics have lashed out at Cuomo’s sudden condemnation of the closure period, even though New York businesses are still suffering from the effects of various coronavirus restrictions.

“Let me get it right now. When Republicans say that, it means they’re science experts trying to kill people, but if @NYGovCuomo finally says it today, then he’s a genius who should write another book about his incredible leadership? I get it right? ‘asekd Rep Lee Zeldin, RN.Y.

“[Florida Republican Gov. Ron] DeSantis was absolutely thrilled because he said almost exactly this month (put politics to life!) While Cuomo closed restaurants and left schools inexplicably closed, ” conservative writer AG Hamilton tweeted.

“Brilliant strategist … it’s amazing that no one thought of this months ago!” Donald Trump jr. Jokingly exclaimed.

Others mocked Cuomo by suggesting that President Trump, who was banned on Twitter on Friday, tweet from the Democratic governor’s account.

“Did Trump hack Cuomo’s twitter ???” wondered the political sitarist Tim Young.

“It looks like President Trump has gotten hold of Cuomo’s Twitter account!” Trump campaign social media director Mike Hahn tweeted.
